Great Apes are an example of what happens when you just have to get the rock out of your system. Singer/guitarist Brian Moss is no stranger to the stage having cut his teeth in The Ghost, The Wunder Years, and as a solo artist in his project Hanalei. Accompanied by drummer Matt Kadi (Build Us Airplanes), guitarist Rob Carter, and bassist Joshua Kuntz (Drowning With Our Anchors), the band brings much needed energy and charisma to a scene that needs it. They plan to release a series of 7” records this year on several labels. Great Apes pres- ent a no-frills take on rock ‘n’ roll, leaving it all on the stage and giving the listener something to think about while doing so.
