John Vanderslice is the beloved hometown hero of San Francisco. Sure, he didn’t grow up here, but he’s ours now! An audiophile if there ever was one, JV has made a significant mark on the SF music scene. Not only does he work with the best bands and musicians indie has to offer in his non-state of the art studios (read: beautifully planned and executed lo-fi analog wonderland), Tiny Telephone and Minitel, he also creates memorable albums filled with haunting yet immediately listenable songs.

For his Noise Pop show, you can expect Vander- slice along with the multi-tasker Jason Slota, who plays drums and moog concurrently, as well as the Magic*Magic String Quartet. It’s definitely some- thing you don’t want to miss!
