Imagine three extra-terrestrials came down to Earth one day with no knowledge of popular music and you handed them a guitar, a bass, and drums. I’m not saying Sun Foot is from Mars or anything, but it would not surprise me. More than anti-pop, more than arthouse, this is sonic chaos. At times, it feels like three separate songs are fighting for prominence, as guitars wander in a musical diatribe, and drums clack about at random. There is no way to predict exactly what will come out of Sun Foot next, and that is exactly what makes them so unique and head- scratchingly appealing.
