Dark and grungy punk rock has become a thing of the past. That is why Virgin Islands must do what they do best and save the scene. With heavy sludge kicking off the tunes, this band spins a deft mix of heavy drums, crashing guitars, and deep bass that rattles the rafters. Their appropriately titled Ernie Chambers v. God, debuted in mid 2011, causing the future to get darker by the day (in a good way) for the post-punk world.
