Don’t call these guys shoegaze or you might just get your teeth knocked out. Although, with their reverb heavy melodies and distorted guitars, you can’t really blame people for drawing comparisons to the genre—even though the label of psychedelic-pop- rock, might be more accurate. The San Francisco based quartet play their first Noise Pop festival hot on the heels of last year’s digital releases, recorded by Jason Kick of Maus Haus. Currently working on new tracks likely to be unveiled for their live set, put the genre descriptions aside and check out White Cloud’s sound for yourself.
